There is a boy named Steve who loves to read. One day when Steve is reading a book he finds a powder that allows someone to go into a story inside a book. Steve befriends all the characters he meets and goes on crazy adventures, but soon he finds himself at the end of his book and don’t know how to get out! How will Steve find his way home?

Creating illustrations using clay was a new experience for me, but as I was making this book I realized how fun of a material it was to work with.
There are so many things that make clay unique compared to traditional drawing supplies, but my greatest challenge was probably trying to choose the right kind of clay to use for the backgrounds. Although it took a lot of time and effort, I think it was really worth it!” –Ellen Oh (2024)
